Learn about the Buddhist way of life before enjoying a Cream Tea.

A guided tour of the World Peace Temple at Conishead Priory in southern Cumbria to learn about the spiritual life of the Buddhists who live here. On the tour you view the historic house in its 70 acres of beautiful parkland setting on the shores of Morecambe Bay before enjoying a cream tea in the original Dining Hall. In 1928 the Priory was bought by the Durham Miners Welfare Committee for use as a convalescent home by patients from the Durham coalfields.
