Join us for a day trip which includes a steam train ride & boat trip in the Lake District

The railway runs for 3 1/2 miles from Haverthwaite Station along the banks of the River Leven to Lakeside Station, where you alight and board one of the ‘steamer’ services cruising to Bowness. The excursion includes a steam train journey, a river boat cruise and free time in Bowness.

Price includes:-


  • Return coach travel to and from your local joining point

  • Lake cruise between Bowness and Lakeside or reverse

  • Train ride between Lakeside and Haverthwaite or reverse

  • Time to explore and enjoy Bowness on Windermere
