A visit to the New Lanark UNESCO World Heritage Site, a unique 18th century cotton mill village.

New Lanark UNESCO World Heritage Site is a unique 18th century cotton mill village sitting alongside the picturesque River Clyde. Visitors can see recreated millworkers’ houses, historic working machinery, school, village store and the nearby ‘Falls of Clyde’ waterfalls. The day is finished off with a stop at the Blacksmith’s Shop at Gretna Green, home to the famous marriage anvil.
